Miscellaneous Updates

• Increased drop rates for gear from final boss of Aggrobah Job Gauntlet.
• Rushing through quest text in final room of Aggrobah Job Gauntlet should no longer prevent combat from starting properly.
• Wheeler's Lair sigil should no longer send the 4th player to a different instance.
• Tartarus - Return to Life Fountain should bring you to the correct spot.
• Talos - Captains should no longer drunkenly dock ships inside the island.
• Bonnie Anne has had her stats adjusted for Fox Highlander promotion.

March 2025 Patch Notes

Free to Play Companion Upgrades

The first slate of free to play companions has been upgraded based on your votes in the Pirate101 discord! Do note- Monkey King’s upgrade will be released in a future update as the Celestial Ministers have greater plans for this Trickster Deity...
The following companions have been upgraded:

• Dead Mike
• S.M. Arson (Crown Shop Counterpart)

• Sarah Steele
• Lucy Sterling (Crown Shop Counterpart)

• Bat Masterson

As per votes in the Discord (77%)- the crown shop counterparts of companions will be variations of the original companion. Depending on designer discretion- some of these variations may include:

• Different Class from the original
• Different starting Epics from the original
• Different Damage Type (Physical vs Magical)
• Variation on starting powers
• Variations on stat distributions
• Variations of the max tier of Epic Talent(s) they can train

Upgrades Include:

• Revamped and/or additional Stats
• Revamped and/or New Powers
• Revamped and/or New Epic Talents

The Aggrobah Job Updates

We’ve heard your feedback on the desirability of drops in the Aggrobah Job Gauntlet. As such we have added 5 more sets of gear (1 for each class) to the drop pool. This gear will also have more competitive powers and talents for the respective classes!

Miscellaneous Updates

• Gorgon Summon animation fix
• Bloodsucker 3 bleed effect now scales based on spell power
• Eagilles fight difficulty has been reduced
• Temple Guardian’s fight difficulty has been reduced

February 2025 Patch Notes

Hawkules Promotion Updates

Thank you for your feedback on our new promotion system for the Legendary hero Hawkules! We’ve been paying attention to community sentiment and have some updates to improve the experience:

• The Doom Laurel’s drop rate has been increased
• The drop rate of obsidian skeleton keys from the boss has been increased
• There is now a new Badge Reward that guarantees receipt of the Doom Laurel
• The Doom Laurel item will be available in the Crown Shop for purchase

Grizzly Beast Companion Updates

The Grizzly Beast companions have received significant upgrades that help them stand tall with Baar! These upgrades include:

• Enhanced stats
• Upgraded Powers and Talents
• Increased Epic talent selection and/or more powers
• Modifications to their distinct pet summons

Keep an eye out for a reworked Grizzly Beast Pack which will be released later this year and replace the existing version. This new pack will include new dropped items, a new set of weapons and new mounts!

Sinbad Part 1-3 Updates

• Team Up has been added to Sinbad Part 1 and 2
• Sinbad Part 2 combat difficulty has been reduced, and the drop rate of the weapons has been increased
• Dungeon Recall now functions correctly in Sinbad Part 3

Miscellaneous Updates

• The new Patch of St. Rex item will be added to the Crown Shop soon, a counterpart to the popular Patch of St. Fido, this new patch improves spell power rather than weapon power
• The Ibis Temple Guardian in Zigazag no longer decides to have a dance party mid combat
• Various animation bug fixes

November 2024 Patch Notes: Hawkules Promotion Boss Fight!

Ahoy Pirates! We're trying something new--combining a skeleton key boss with a companion promotion!

Return to Tartarus to defeat the terrifying new Skeleton Key Boss, General Proklitikos! Potential loot drops from this new encounter include weapons you will surely want to add to your arsenal and the new Doom Laurel Item, which will allow you to promote Hawkules! After receiving this item, make your way to a tavern to complete the promotion.

We are hoping that this system will allow us to provide a faster cadence of promotions while also giving players a fun activity to participate in. Let us know your feedback on this experimental system, along with any suggestions and ideas for improvements by heading to our Discord!
