Tips for beating Obsidian Old Scratch?

Hello everyone! I just wanted to know if anyone had some tips for besting Obsidian Old Scratch for Old Scratch's promotion quest. I've been trying to take him out first before his minions (Using Nausica, Goronado, and Hawkules at the moment). I'm getting a little frustrated because I keep getting overwhelmed by minions and I can't take out Old Scratch before that happens. I'm playing on a level 70 Witch Doctor as well. Any ideas or suggestions for companions I could use? I appreciate it! Thank you.

You already have the big guns for this fight. You just need to know how to use them. Use Nausica's Centaur's Charge to get close to Old Scratch, than bombard him with her criticals.

For Goronado, keep moving forward until you can hit Old Scratch from behind Mr. Neville with Mighty Charge. But do NOT let him near Bones McCoy. NEVER attack Bones McCoy with melee attacks; you may lose your attacker, especially if he has Vengeance Strike. Only the dodgiest Swashbuckler Captains have a chance against him.

Prioritize Old Scratch first. Ignore Mr. Neville's healing powers and just take him out as fast as possible, before he can kill off half your crew.

If you don't have Nausica and/or Goronado, choose companions that can travel a lot of distance in a short time, or can attack from just as far. Above all, they must be able to take some hits.

When Old Scratch is gone, try to take out Mr. Neville and Bones McCoy (from a distance. Trust me, he MURDERS melee fighters.), and the undead minions while you're at it. When only the undead are left, take them out.

Above all else, do him with other people. In my opinion, Old Scratch is the hardest of all the Skeleton Key bosses.
A full team is ideal!

Go to Avery server and ask if anyone else is promoting Old Scratch. or ask friends who have done this to help You can't do this alone. Yes, Old Scratch is the priority, but I wouldn't "ignore" Mr. Nevile, besides healing he also buffs and all Scratch needs is one lucky critical to take out you and your crew. Split your attackers, two on Old Scratch and one on Mr. Neville.
After old Scratch is down then take out Mr. Neville and especially Bones McCoy and his summons. If you have doubloons, start using them! I've found that any magic resistance doubloons are very helpful. Doubloons for summons, criticals, heals, armor, & Jack Rabbit Juju are excellent as well.
Substitute Hawkules with Ratbeard who is much better at taking damage than the other. If you have a valor's armor or fort, protect Nausicca!
What is your class and what are you doing? What's your equipment? how good is your pet? These factors come into play as well.

To compound on these tips, take advantage of the interaction between witch hunter and Doom Mojo. If you're adjacent to Old Scratch (hint: use your shadow step) and have witch hunter, it will trigger every turn before doom mojo is used. This does massive damage if you have your own mojo buffs up.

Get Witch Hunter 2 (train it and get a morph for it)
Get Black Rain Shades (teleport)
teleport directly to scratch while having scratch buff your spellpower
Scratch should be dead by turn 2/3, rest is childs play.
