Weapon doesn't show or is hidden?

I recently equipped Decimator's Spolas on my buccaneer, now his weapon, Friar Sand's Unyielding Hirigama has disappeared or is hidden ( same thing ) from the character in non combat situations. In combat the weapon shows up normally in his hand. This seems to be a cosmetic glitch; which is why I'm not panicking.
It's more like a "Woah, that's a bizarre glitch!"

yes it is kinda glitchy about slashy/smashy and big choppy wepons they can hide a lot when you equip it but persenally i dont think thats a big deal because the wepon power shows up normaly and it appers normaly when you combat
